Days 39 to 41 – 31 Jul to 2 Aug 19 – Qala

Days 39 to 41 – 3 days working away on floor insulation in the open plan area, bathroom and guest bedroom en-suite.

Next week, the membrane will go down (Mon/Tue), the manifold loosely fitted the the wall and we’ll start running out underfloor heating pipe probably in Wednesday. Any surplus time will be spent adhering insulation panels to the front bathroom and 3rd bedroom walls, not as insulation but more soundproofing from the neighbouring penthouse.

This week I’m also expecting the special underfloor heating concrete to appear from Italy – mixing and applying that and ensuring it’s level will be the biggest job in the next 2 weeks …..
