Days 123 to 127 – I didn’t think there was much to report this week until I looked back through the photo’s which show that we had a fab and busy week!
Monday saw a respite in the weather (wind) so Michael and I managed to get the skylight installed! We are now totally weatherproof and soundproof which is great.
Tuesday saw a bunch of circuit breakers being installed in the consumer unit, wired in such a way that I still have electricity in the flat. We just now need the electrical safety inspection and can then apply for the meter to be installed.
Outside of that, work has progressed in the bathroom areas with build of cabinets and shower cubicles, installation of toilet cisterns and all water outlets have also been fully tested.
Next week (2 weeks), more carpentry and tiling in bathrooms will recommence – very close to having a habitable apartment now.
I would like to wish everyone that’s been following my blog and my work the most amazing Christmas next week – I will take a few days off to celebrate it before cracking on with the flat …
