Days 102 to 105 – An interesting week with force 8/9 gales and no windows! Only 4 days worked due to me walking on Wednesday and a guest.
However, a busy week. Last weekend we visited the window builder and saw the windows and rear balcony railing. The windows, skylight and doors have been built and are awaiting glass arrival. We anticipate them being fitted in about 2 week’s time.
This week in the penthouse the showers, guest bedroom and guest bathroom floors have been completed and all areas grouted. The terrace step has been grouted and some old tile cut-offs have been used in the small terrace shaft as part of the waterproofing project! A few more tiles have also been laid on the rear balcony.
The guest bathroom has also had some tiles applied. As ther’re so small (10cm x 30cm metro tiles) this is quite a long drawn out job but the results are lovely – hope you agree.
Next week the heatpump will be dragged onto the roof, the bathroom tiling will continue and I’ll make a start on some bathroom carpentry.m We’re getting there slowly!!
