Days 47 to 49 – Very productive 3 days. On Monday 5 pallets of “stuff” and a cement mixer were craned up to the terrace (thank you so much Kipper for your help with that) and I started laying underfloor heating (UFH) pipe.
On Tuesday my new unpaid employee Petra Thamm spent the day with me helping to lay the remainder of the UFH pipe which I then connected up to the UFH manifold (having my angel there saved a day’s work for me!!).
Today I filled the UFH system, pressure tested it (passed with no problems and is now sitting at 6 bar pressure until the floor is finished) and started laying the floor screed over the pipes.
The next 4 to 5 days will be spent laying floor screed until finished. Still having fun ……
