Days 32 & 33 – 2 busy days switching focus to plumbing and the floor. Had a great meeting with a friend plumber yesterday who will help when the time comes.
So, all areas that need chasing for taps and water drainage have been done and I’ve put in the washing machine drain pipe (whoop whoop). In the bathrooms I’ve boxed off areas for the plumbing pipes to go.
The floor insulation in the main open plan area is started – more like laying a mosaic than insulation as I have to cut it round all the conduit, filling any gaps with sand. I won’t have that issue in the bedrooms as the floor will be levelled with sand there.
Tomorrow a couple of tonnes of sand gets delivered early so I’ll spend the day distributing that around the bedrooms and hall to bring up floor levels and do some more with the floor insulation if time allows.
