Day 9 – Quite a good day apart from the untimely demise of my chaser however I seem to be OK with my trusty angle grinder – German (Bosch) reliability!
All chasing is complete in the bedrooms and where there were holes yesterday there’s now (in most cases) conduit and back boxes for switches and sockets. Just some more plugs to install into the insulation – my oversight …. forgot power supplies for the heatpump and water pump which will be on the roof but supplied from the 2nd bedroom and up the light shaft.
The kitchen guy visited (from Bond’s in Malta) and we measured everything out in detail so that will help with location of wall sockets next week. Also received another couple of visitors bringing food and drink (quite partial to cider now that the temperature’s gone up!) so many thanks to them.
Rest day tomorrow (well, taxi run to the airport) and back to work (Day 10) on Monday – hopefully we’ll have all power and lighting circuits in the bedroom complete by Monday night.
