Day 8 – not a huge amount achieved today – had to get finished early for another appointment. Working in bedroom 2, I channelled in a couple of sockets, light switches and light fittings and managed to get another prepared for tomorrow. Slightly time consuming when I have to put right the builder’s mess in some places!
I also received 3 very welcome visitors today who all received “the grand tour”. The bottle of water was very welcomed but ice cold cider would also never be turned away!
The scaffolding in the light shafts is down and they’re looking good. The guys have started erecting the scaffolding on the outside of the building to start rendering that – will look much better when done.
Tomorrow’s goal is to get all 3 bedrooms finished off completely for lights and sockets so I can finish the hall Monday/Tuesday and then crack on with the kitchen, dining area, sitting room and terrace (lights and jacuzzi). I also need to consider electrical supply to the roof for solar water heater, underfloor heating heatpump and the pump for water supply pressure.
